Nancy Ann Gallo

Memorial services for Nancy Gallo, 78, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Ainsworth officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.
Ms. Gallo was born October 25, 1931 in Orange, New Jersey to the late Beatrice (Eleaner) and Everett Felter, and died Saturday, April 3, 2010 in a local nursing home. A former resident of Denver, Colorado and Charlotte, North Carolina, she had resided in Lufkin for seven years. Ms. Gallo was the secretary at First Unitarian Church in Denver, Colorado for 15 years, and currently attended the Angel of Joy Lutheran Church in Lufkin.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, David and Gladys Franssen of Lufkin; grandson, Will Short of Lufkin; granddaughter, Olivia Short of San Antonio; and sister, Betty Benson of New Brunswick, New Jersey.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Gallo was preceded in death by her son, Douglas Franssen.
