Ruben Esparza

Mass of Christian Burial for Ruben Esparza, 39, of Lufkin will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Joe Kannampuzha, M.S. Celebrant officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday evening in the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Mr. Esparza was born August 30, 1970 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Isidra (DelToro) and Romelio Esparza, and died Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Lufkin, from injuries sustained in a automobile accident. He resided in Lufkin most of his life and was a carpenter. Mr. Esparza attended St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Esparza of Lufkin; sons, Reney Esparza and Ruben Esparza, Jr., both of Lufkin; parents, Isidra and Romelio Esparza of Lufkin; brother, Romelio Esparza, Jr. of Lufkin; sisters, Laura Vargas, Linda Vargas, Lucy Perez and Elizabeth Ramirez, all of Lufkin; grandfather, Santos DelToro of Lufkin; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his infant son, Brandon Esparza; and brother, Julio Cesar Esparza.

Pallbearers will be Hector Aranda, Rolando Vargas, Sergio Vargas, Mario Ramirez, Francisco Rios and Rolando Delgado.

Honorary pallbearers will be Felipe Romelio Vargas and Romelio Esparza, Jr.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Monday evening at the St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church.
