Hickey Eugene Capps

Funeral services for Hickey Eugene ""T.C."" Capps, 63, of Diboll will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Brother Vic Bass officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Capps was born November 10, 1946 in Jacksonville, Texas to the late Wilma Ophelia (Russell) and Hickey Capps. He died Saturday, February 27, 2010 in a Lufkin hospital.
Mr. Capps was retired from Temple Associates and had resided in Diboll most of his life. He was a member of Faith Family Church. Mr. Capps enjoyed racing cars, hunting, and being with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Phyllis Capps of Diboll; son and daughter-in-law, Randall Eugene and Lauren Capps of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Nikki Kyle and Matt Hughes of Corrigan; grandchildren, Tristan Emmons of Lufkin, Taylor Renee Handley of Corrigan; brother and sister-in-law, Robert L. and Sandra Capps of Lufkin; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Art and Renne Arnold of Diboll, Ruth Loftin of Huntington; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Capps was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Kyle Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Russell Julian, Brett McGaughey, Shawn McGaughey, Donald Colture, Matt Hughes, Ronnie Hutchison, Art Arnold and Robert Lynn Capps.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Coleman, Garland Thompson, Nathaniel Thompson, Bill ""Fuzzy"" Neal, Luther Reed, Melvin Thompson, Sr., Kirk Johnson, William Bubba Thompson, Melvin Ray Thompson, Jr., and Rodney Willis.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Family Church Building Fund, 7020 S. US Highway 59, Diboll, Texas 75941.
The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
