Sue Smith Shofner

Graveside services for Sue Smith Shofner, 65, of Diboll will be held Monday, September 20, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Ryan Chapel Cemetery with Brother C.G. ""Buster"" Grigg officiating.

Mrs. Shofner was born March 11, 1945 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Dottie (Tull) and James L. Smith, and died Thursday, September 16, 2010 in Beaumont. She lived many places in Houston and the Southeast Texas area, but Diboll was always ""home"". Mrs. Shofner managed various apartment complexes in Houston. She was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Barb Shofner of Canton, Ohio; granddaughters, Emily Larrick and Angela Larrick, both of Canton, Ohio; and brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Carolyn Smith of Diboll.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shofner was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. ""Jack"" Shofner.
