Oletha Price

Funeral services for Oletha Price, 76, of Lufkin will be held Monday, October 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend D.R. McNaughton and Reverend Bob Lewis officiating. Interment will follow in the Wallace Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Price was born December 6, 1933 in Lovelady, Texas to the late Dollie (Stubbs) and Elmer Elvis Weeks, and died Thursday, October 14, 2010 in a local hospital. A former resident of Houston, she had resided in Lufkin since 1975. Mrs. Price was an Avon representative for 15 years. She was a member of the Harbor Light Church.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Maurice Price of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Ken Reeder of Lufkin, Ruby and Rudy Barker and Sherry and Ray Glenn, all of Houston; grandchildren, Michael Willmon and wife Paula of Anchorage, Alaska, Steven Glenn, Bryan Willmon and wife Sharon, Russell Smith, all of Houston, Scott Reeder and wife Tammie of Diboll and Trecia Reeder Herrera of Houston; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald and Stella Weeks of Troup and Elmer and Janet Weeks of Conroe; sister and brother-in-law, June and Kenneth Flournoy of Bullard; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be Clyde Cain, Ralph Cain, John Cain, Donald W. Weeks, Ronnie Weeks and Dr. Jeremy Gibson.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
