Richard Charleston Webb

Funeral services for Richard ""Dick"" Webb II, 67, of Huntington will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Highway Baptist Church with Reverend Lamar Denby officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Treadwell Cemetery under the auspices of the Homer Masonic Lodge #254 A.F. & A.M.

Mr. Webb was born January 19, 1943 in Sinton, Texas to the late Thelma Ruth (Lindeman) and Richard C. Webb, and died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 in a Houston hospital.

Mr. Webb had resided in Huntington for 29 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964, and was the manager of Pineywoods Sanitation Service for 23 years. He was a mason with the Homer Masonic Lodge #254 A.F. & A.M. and a member of Highway Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Webb of Huntington; sons, Sam Webb and fiancee Melissa Franks of Huntington and Barry Hancock of Lufkin; daughter, Teresa Moore of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Kelsey Moore, Dustin Moore, Lauren Hancock, Karaleena Franks, Kaleb Hall and Kirsty Hall; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and David Parker of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; nephew, Michael Price of Albuquerque, New Mexico; aunt, Betty Pope of Grove Hill, Alabama; and special friends, Richard Drummer of Lufkin and Frank Coleman of Dallas.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Dick Webb Memorial Fund, c/o Highway Baptist Church, P.O. Box 272, Huntington, Texas 75949.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Highway Baptist Church.
