Graveside services for John W. ""Mac"" McMaster, 78, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in the Rocky Springs/Old Center Cemetery with Tom Holland speaking.
Mr. McMaster was born August 31, 1932 in Wynne, Arkansas to the late Reba (Clemons) and Willie B. McMaster, and died Saturday, October 16, 2010 in a local hospital. A former resident of the Netherlands, he had resided in Huntington for 30 years. Mr. McMaster served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Brown & Root. He loved fishing, hunting and boating.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Boris McMaster of Huntington; daughters and sons-in-law, Sara and Chris Rigoni of Alabama and Patti and Richard Bradley of St. Augustine, Florida; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Peggy McMaster of Illinois, Daniel and Carol McMaster of Indiana, David McMaster and Tommy McMaster, both of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McMaster was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Owen; brothers, Carl Wayne McMaster, Willie Lee ""Bud"" McMaster and Billy Joe McMaster; and sister, Maggie Ward.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
