Phillip Michael Cook

Phillip Michael Cook, 67, of Lufkin died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at his residence. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Cook was born January 29, 1943 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Ruby Jo (Walters) and Maurice Cook. He resided in Lufkin most of his life. Mr. Cook received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Stephen F. Austin State University and was an insurance agent.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Samantha Cook of Baytown; granddaughters, Sarah Cook and Haley Cook, both of Baytown; mother, Ruby Jo Cook of Lufkin; and sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Jackie Futch of Pollok.

He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice Cook; and brother, David Cook.
