Mamie L. Watson

Graveside services for Mamie L. Watson, 68, of Lufkin will be held Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Largent Cemetery with Reverend Mike Loftin officiating.

Mrs. Watson was born January 18, 1942 in Trinity County, Texas to the late Lottie Mae (Flanagan) and Roy P. Mann, and died Friday, December 24, 2010 at her residence. She resided in Angelina County most of her life and was employed with Temple-Inland for 35 years. Mrs. Watson was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her stepson and daughter-in-law, Larry Joe and Donna Watson of Lufkin; stepdaughter, Judy Tobias of Lufkin; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Vera Loftin of Trinity, Ruby Anderson and Dorothy and Alford Hambrick, all of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Nettie Mann of Diboll; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Edd Watson; stepsons, Randy Watson and Dean Watson; and grandson, William Watson.

Pallbearers will be Gregg Harrison, Dillon Tobias, Ben Anderson, Randy Hambrick, Chuck Mann and Steve Anderson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Loftin, Scott Watson and James ""Speedy"" Marze.

Memorial contributions may be made to the hospice of your choice.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
