Raymond Newton May

Funeral services for Raymond Newton May, 69, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother D.R. McNaughton officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. May was born October 18, 1941 in Brownwood, Texas to Faye Lamerle (Reider) and Neuman May, and died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 in a local hospital. He had resided in Lufkin for 15 years and was an air conditioning technician. Mr. May attended the Harbor Light Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Faith Grace May of Florida; two grandchildren; mother, Faye Lamerle May of Lufkin; and brother, Charlie Dewayne May of Cathedral City, California.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
