Funeral services for Billy H. Arnold, 72, of Tyler will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Horace Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Wells, Texas.
Mr. Arnold was born May 29, 1937 in Houston, Texas to the late Mavis (Warner) and Earl G. Arnold, and died Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in Tyler.
Mr. Arnold was raised in Lufkin and Wells, Texas and had resided in Tyler for 49 years. He served in the U.S. Army, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Tyler after 31 years of employment. He loved all of God's creation, including the outdoors, the mountains, hunting and fishing. Mr. Arnold was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Frankie Arnold of Tyler; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Theresa Arnold of Tyler; grandchildren, Jason, Alex, Blake and Ashley Arnold; great-grandchildren, Parker and Theresa Lynn Arnold; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his daughter, Lori Arnold.
Pallbearers will be Barry White, Keith White, Mike Casey, David Seymore, Stevie Seymore and Dennis Malnar.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
