Funeral services for Debra Kaye Leighton, 57, of Lufkin will be held Monday, November 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Ray Gilder officiating. Interment will follow in the Pollok Cemetery.

Mrs. Leighton was born July 15, 1953 in Greenville, Mississippi to Effie (Tharpe) and Lee Roy Kelly, and died Thursday, November 11, 2010 in a local hospital. She had resided in Lufkin for 40 years. Mrs. Leighton was a Security Guard for Centurion Security. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her daughters and son-in-law, Jodi and Benton Dunn of Lufkin and Anita Carter of Shepherd; sons and daughter-in-law, Trey and Christi Grandgeorge of Pollok, Theodore Vern ""Teddy"" Leighton, Jr., Randall Wade Leighton and Richard Arthur Leighton, all of Caldwell; grandchildren, Zachary Ty Dunn of Lufkin, Ryley Chase Grandgeorge of Onalaska, Clayton Roberts of Pollok, Blake Leighton, Trey Gross, both of Caldwell, Bobby Faust of Austin, Hayley Eldridge of Pollok and Brianna Leighton of Caldwell; mother, Effie Kelly of McMenville, Tennessee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Ray Gilder, Lynn and Danny Gilder, all of McMenville, Tennessee and Beverly and Bobby Derrow of Manchester, Tennessee; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lee and Cheryl Kelly of Franklin, Tennessee and Mike and Sandy Kelly of Memphis, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mrs. Leighton was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Kelly; and husband, Theodore Vern Leighton, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Randy Leighton, Ricky Leighton, Toby Derrow, Rusty Derrow, Alvin Quick and Dustin Mills.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home.
