Bill Terry

Memorial services for Bill ""Pops"" Terry, 67, of Pollok will be held Sunday, September 19, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Pastor Josh Luellen officiating. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home.

Mr. Terry was born May 31, 1943 in Henrietta, Texas to the late Louise (Willis) and Willie T. Terry, and died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at his residence. A resident of Huntington most of his life, he had resided in Pollok for a year and was a mechanic. Mr. Terry was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Waylon and Joanna Terry of Huntington; grandchildren, Kevin Terry, Justin Terry and fiancee Alicia Forrest, Tiffani Terry, their mother, Theresa Terry, Patricia Dunn, Brian Kelley and Bradley Dunn; brother and sister-in-law, Roy and Mattie Terry of Winnie; sisters and brother-in-law, Hazel Thweatt of Port Neches, Faye Cole of Nederland and Wanda and Paul Taylor of Huntington; special friend, Shannon Drysdale of Pollok; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Terry; son, Roger Terry; brothers, Lloyd Dean Terry and Troy Terry; and sisters, Louise Boyd and Stella Taylor.
