Patsy R. Rogers Holland

Graveside services for Patsy R. Rogers Holland, 69, of Timpson will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the East Prairie/Possum Walk Cemetery with Reverend R.G. ""Bud"" Davis officiating.

Mrs. Holland was born January 17, 1942 in Houston, Texas to the late Lola Mae (Alexander) and Emery Arvil Thomasson, and died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Pine Grove Nursing Center in Center. A former resident of Huntington, she had resided in Timpson for 3 years. Mrs. Holland was a member of the First United Pentecostal Church in Lufkin.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Ollie Mae and James Barrett of Timpson, Susan Buckner of Timpson and Della and Taylor Ryberg of Waco; sons and daughters-in-law, Johnny and Laurie Rogers of Waco and Joe Paul and Juanene Rogers of Rocky Hill; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Lane of Mabank and Tinnie Key of Gun Barrel City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Mac and Layda Thomasson of Quinlan, B.J. Thomasson of Seagoville, Lee and Jurlene Thomasson of Eustace, Jim and Ruth Thomasson of Tennessee, Jobe Thomasson of Athens and Isaiah and Candyce Thomasson of Quinlan; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holland was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe C. Rogers; and second husband, James A. Holland

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
