Jeff May

Funeral services for Jeff May, 45, of Huntington will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Reverend Jeff Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Jeff was born July 9, 1965 in Austin, Texas to Diane (Loveless) and Will May, and died Saturday, June 11, 2011. He was a lifetime resident of Angelina County and was the Director of Operations for Wil-May Enterprises, Inc. Jeff enjoyed his work and loved all his managers and employees. He had a great adventurous spirit, and had a special love for animals, especially horses.

Survivors include his wife, Jean May of Bay City; stepson, Ricky Herrod of College Station; mother, Diane May of Lufkin; father and stepmother, Will and Julie May of Lufkin; sister, Shannon May of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Trent and Ana Schuster, Todd Foyil, all of Lufkin and Troy and Lori Schuster of Flower Mound; grandmother, Kathryn Togersen of Bossier City, Louisiana; uncles and aunts, Gary and Stephanie Loveless of Houston and Glenn and Tracy Loveless of College Station; special friends, Tracy Lawson of Corrigan and Jennifer Taylor of Lufkin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his stepbrother, Tracy Schuster.

Pallbearers will be Erich Briedenthal, Chris Evans, Jimmy Guerrero, Chris Loveless, Mark Parbs, Troy Tubbs, Jonathan Wiley and Jordan Young.

Honorary pallbearers will be the managers of the McDonald?s restaurants in Lufkin and Nacogdoches, and stepson Ricky Herrod.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Texas, P.O. Box 2920, Athens, Texas 75751.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home.
