Ella Wayne Faver

Funeral services for Ella Wayne Faver, 92, of Nogalus Prairie, will be held Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Lufkin with Bro. Tracy Henderson and Bro. James Whittlesey officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Cemetery in Nogalus Prairie.
Mrs. Faver was born November 28, 1918 in Trinity County, Texas to the late Mima Dot (Wilborn) and George Nunn Ellisor. She died Sunday, July 31, 2011 in a Groveton nursing facility.
Mrs. Faver was a homemaker and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She had also worked as a seamstress at The Sewing Factory in Groveton. Mrs. Faver was a member of Prairie View United Methodist Church, and had lived in Nogalus Prairie all her life. She loved her church, her family and reading the Bible.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Clifford E. and Pat Faver of Cushing, Patricia and Bernie Sullivan of Pasadena, Robert L. and Tamara Faver of Humble, and Gene Douglas and Crystal Faver of Houston; fourteen grandchildren, Julie Brown, Terry Faver, Sue Ellen Hurley, Kenneth Faver, Michael Faver, Darrell Faver, Chris Morgan, Heather Edwards, Lynn Williams, Brian Faver, Andrew Faver, Blake Faver, Courtney Faver, and Morgan Faver; sixteen great grandchildren, including Shea Williams and Garrett Williams, who were like grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mrs. Faver was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Elwood Faver; sons, Harold Faver and Kenneth Faver; her parents; sister, Marie Smith; and brothers, James Ellisor and Roy Ellisor.
Pallbearers will be Chris Morgan, Josh Harris, Dustin Williams, Blake Faver, Terry Faver and Brian Faver. Honorary pallbearer will be Kenneth Faver.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
