Danny Beauchamp

Funeral services for Danny Beauchamp, 65, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Owen and Dan Norman officiating. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mr. Beauchamp was born July 28, 1946 in Lufkin, Texas to Era Oleta (Carrico) and Fred Beauchamp, and died Thursday, August 11, 2011 in a local hospital.

Mr. Beauchamp was a lifetime resident of Angelina County, and he owned and operated Fred?s Upholstery over 30 years. He loved church, and started the Solid Rock Family Church, having services in his home. He was an advocate for the youth at several different churches. Mr. Beauchamp had served as a board member for Clawson Assembly of God, Solid Rock Family Church, and Glad Tidings Assembly of God, where he was currently a member. He enjoyed riding horses, hunting and fishing, watching football, and most of all his grandkids.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Doris Beauchamp of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Rusty Owen of Hudson; sons and daughter-in-law, John and Angie Beauchamp of Allentown and Jeremy Beauchamp of Tampa, Florida; grandchildren, Amber Watson, Dustin Watson, Kyle Beauchamp, Zack Brasher, Kelsie Alders, Hailey Owen and Karsen Beauchamp; great-grandson, Daniel Watson; mother, Oleta Beachamp of Lufkin; sisters and brothers-in-law, Freida and Allen Cates, Pam and Johnny Swallows, all of Lufkin, and Brenda and Leonard Sharp of Hudson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Barbara Sharp of Hudson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Beauchamp; father-in-law and mother-in-law, W.D. and Ruthie Sharp.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Beauchamp, Zack Brasher, Dustin Watson, Alan McAdams, Tony Beam and Daron Shelton.

Honorary pallbearers will be Karsen Beauchamp and Daniel Watson.

The family extends special thanks to Hospice in the Pines, and nurses, Martha and Frances.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 West Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
