Austin Foraker

Funeral services for Austin Grant Foraker, 19, of Huntington will be held Sunday May 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Joe Sawyer officiating. Burial arrangements are pending in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Austin was born December 3, 1991 in Houston, Texas to Susan (Merritt) and Herman Luther Foraker, and died Friday, April 29, 2011 in San Augustine County.

Austin was a 2010 graduate of Ooltewah High School in Ooltewah, Tennessee, and was making plans to attend Jacksonville Bible College. He attended the First Ora Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Herman and Melanie Foraker of Huntington; mother and stepfather, Susan and James Weaver of Chattanooga, Tennessee; grandparents, Lorena Merritt of Katy and Johnnie Foraker of Broaddus; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Kristen Foraker of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Jeffrey and Paige Foraker of Lake Jackson, Jason Foraker of Huntington, Jacob and Amber Foraker of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Houston Foraker and Joshua Foraker of Huntington; sisters, Lanie Foraker of Huntington and Kaylee Merritt of Chattanooga, Tennessee; nieces and nephews, Rylee Foraker, Ayden Foraker, both of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Jordan Foraker of Wisconsin, Ayden Foraker of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Jeffrey Foraker, Jr. of Mobile, Alabama, Carsyn Foraker of Lake Jackson, Alyson Foraker and Amber Foraker, both of Fort Polk, Louisiana; and numerous aunts, uncles and other servants of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jamison Reid Foraker; and sisters, Amoree Darlene Foraker and Morning Star Foraker.

Pallbearers will be Austin?s brothers.

The family will receive friends and loved ones following the services, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
