Funeral services for Earl Tucker, 60, of Zavalla will be held Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Reverend M.H. Shubert and Reverend Coy Roach officiating. Masonic graveside services will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery under the auspices of the Zavalla Masonic Lodge #1263 A.F. & A.M.

Mr. Tucker was born October 29, 1950 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Betty Darlene (Dhone) and Marion Noble Tucker, and died Thursday, August 4, 2011 at his residence. He resided in Zavalla most of his life. Mr. Tucker was a member of the Zavalla Masonic Lodge #1263 A.F. & A.M.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Darline Tucker of Zavalla; daughters and sons-in-law, Teressa and Michael Blair, Sr. of Huntington, Jenny Lynn and Bill Hogue of Zavalla, Frances Mae Tucker of Huntington, Shandi and Eduardo Ibarra of Lufkin, Shelia and Paul Hardy of Mt. Enterprise and Charly and Kenny Ferguson of Douglas; son, William Glenn ?Billy? Franklin of Zavalla; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis Tucker of Laredo, William Orlando Tucker of Rosenberg, Bruce and Tammy Bernal of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Frank and Sandra Bernal of Wallis and Jerry Tucker of Temple; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and James Cole of Orchard, Karan and David Griffin of Hughes Springs and Phyllis and Michael Ulbrich of Weimer; beloved family members, Robert Dhone, Jr., Cindy Dhone and Lee Dhone; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marion Noble Tucker; mother, Betty Darlene (Dhone) Tucker Bernal; brothers, Marion Eugene Tucker, George Emmett Tucker and Larry Robert Tucker; and uncle and aunt that raised him, Robert and Bobbie Dhone.

Pallbearers will be Tucker Blair, Bill Hogue, Lee Dhone, Kenny Ferguson, Edward Ibarra and Paul Hardy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Dhone, Dwayne Havard, Keith Harris and Ken Boyles.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. Sid Roberts and his staff for their loving care.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice in the Pines, 1504 West Frank Avenue, Lufkin, Texas 75904.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
