Catherine Babineaux

Graveside services for Catherine Faye Babineaux, 72, of Zavalla will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Concord Cemetery with Pastor Kenny Miller and Pastor David Miller officiating.

Mrs. Babineaux was born August 20, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Willie Mae (Johnson) and Walter Benjamin Hailey, Sr., and died Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in a Beaumont hospice facility. She had resided in Zavalla since 1991 and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her son, Lee Babineaux of Zavalla; daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Scott Schion of Beaumont; granddaughters, Christal Shackford of Livingston, Stephanie Schion of Austin and Brigette Schion of Nederland; great-grandchildren, Jennifer Shackford, James Shackford, both of Livingston and Azlynn Tinsley of Nederland; and brother, Walter Benjamin Hailey, Jr. of Nederland.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Friday morning at the funeral home in Huntington.
