Judy Hataway

Funeral services for Judy Garland Hataway, 70, of Lufkin will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Sidney ""Shawn"" Hataway and Reverend Jerry Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Cemetery.

Mrs. Hataway was born July 22, 1941 in Lufkin, Texas to Sidney and Ethel (Gandy) Cheatham, and died Friday, March 2, 2012 at her residence. She was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and a 1959 graduate of Lufkin High School. Mrs. Hataway was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Huntington Chapter 938 and a member of the Homer United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Carl Hataway of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Emily and Gary Frazier of Granbury; sons and daughters-in-law, Richard ""Robin"" and Stephanie Hataway of New Braunfels and Sidney ""Shawn"" and Tami Hataway of Perkinston, Mississippi; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Paul Phillips, Wilbern Teer, Doyle Thornton, Darrell Bryan, Denny Porter and Joe Noel.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
