Terry Allen Burnaman

Terry Allen Burnaman, 53, of Vidor died Sunday, May 27, 2018 in Etoile. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Carroway Funeral Home and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Terry was born March 3, 1965 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Betty Jane (Scheffer) and Vernice Wiley Burnaman.

Terry had resided in Vidor for 10 years after living in Kountze most of his life. He was a mechanic and enjoyed repairing appliances. He could repair just about anything and took great pride in fixing the “unfixable”. He loved to hunt and fish and took great joy spending time with his family at the lake house. He was a people person and a family man who was very giving and always willing to help out anyone in need. His greatest love was his daughter, who was his pride and joy. Terry was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Aleisa Krug of Tucson, Arizona; sisters, Judy Puryear of Etoile and Margaret Hammack of Longview; brothers, Ricky Burnaman of Etoile and Carl Burnaman of Splendora; aunts, Jo Harrison, Charlsie Burnaman, Margie Poe, and Tootsie Anderson; uncles, Leroy Scheffer and Melvin Scheffer; special cousin who was Terry’s inspiration, Wendell Harrison of Port Neches; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and special friend who was always there for Terry, Pam Folsom of Kountze.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tommy Burnaman.
