Randy Clyde Reid

Graveside services for Randy Clyde Reid, 71, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at White Rock Cemetery in Shelby County with Kyle Campbell officiating.

Mr. Reid was born September 30, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Meredith (Koonce) and Clyde Reid, and died Sunday, December 12, 2021 in a local hospital.

Mr. Reid was a lifetime resident of Lufkin and retired from Lufkin Industries where he was a welder. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the outdoors. Mr. Reid was a member of Loop 287 Church of Christ.

Survivors include his sons and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Shannon Reid and Samuel Reid, all of Lufkin; grandchildren, Brittney Reid, Taylor Reid, Samuel Reid, and Daegan Reid; sister, Colleen Barley of Lufkin; nephew, Christopher Barley of Lufkin; niece and husband, April and Christopher Elrod of Lufkin; mother of Matthew and Samuel, Debbie Williamson of Lufkin; and a number of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Derotha “Dee” Peavy; and brother-in-law, Ricky Barley.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
