Visitation for Molly J. Grimes, 52, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Carroway Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon in the Bennett Cemetery in Apple Springs with Pastor Dusty Lee officiating.
Mrs. Grimes was born November 2, 1965 in Houston, Texas, and died Monday, May 14, 2018 in a local hospice facility. She had resided in Lufkin most of her life and was a Nurses’ Aide. Mrs. Grimes enjoyed reading (she loved the Lonesome Dove series) and spending time with her family. She loved her Bible and praise music. She was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Alto.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Grimes of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Katy and Jamie Rowley of Alto, Sammie and Caleb McCartney of Lufkin; son and daughter-in-law, Randal and Amanda Grimes of Wells; grandchildren, Emma and Easton Rowley, Karsyn, Memphis, Blaine and Elijah McCartney, Rilie, Jesse, Sadie and Bella Grimes, and J.D. Poole; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kristie Kachtik of Killeen, Lisa and Roger Bush of Huntington, Melissa and Jim Russell of Cleburne; dad, Kenneth Honeycutt of Boone, Iowa; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jerry Fay (Strickland) Honeycutt.
Pallbearers will be Wesley Hickingbottom, Casey Hickingbottom, Caleb McCartney, J.D. Poole, Roger Bush and Chris Bush.
