Jerry John Frausto

Funeral services for Jerry John Frausto, 16, of Lufkin will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Rodriquez and Brother Stephen Courtney officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.

Jerry was born October 24, 2005 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Sanjuana (Gutierrez) and Juan Jose Frausto, and died Friday, June 17, 2022 in a Nacogdoches hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Jerry was a Junior at Lufkin High School and his hobbies included soccer, dancing, and working. He worked at Chick-fil-A and Raising Cane’s. He loved his truck and his dog, Modelo. He was always happy and loved life. He dearly loved his parents and best friend and brother, Steven, although more than anything, Jerry loved God. Jerry attended Timber Creek Church.

Survivors include his mother, Sanjuana Gutierrez of Lufkin; father, Juan Frausto of Lufkin; siblings, Edna Frausto, Steven Frausto, both of Lufkin, Jennifer Frausto and husband Austin Magana of Chireno, Cecilia Frausto Martinez and husband Javier, Ivan Frausto, all of Lufkin; grandparents, Maria and Juan Frausto of Lufkin; uncles, Rene Frausto and wife Rosario Villanueva, Ruben Frausto, all of Lufkin; nieces and nephews, Alexandra, Avery, Amelia, Adam, Aaron, Kyndall, Khloe, Xavier, Alicia, and Damian; and numerous other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rebecca Rodriguez.

Pallbearers will be Victor Hernandez, Jose Castro, Javier Jay Martinez, Steven Frausto, Joe Frausto, Jessy Bonilla, Ivan Frausto, and Xavier Martinez.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
