Carol Ann Watkins

Funeral services for Carol Ann Watkins, 69, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Baptist Church with Brother Gene Hazell officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Ms. Watkins was born December 21, 1950 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Geneva Adeline (Ricks) and Leroy Wayne Raley, and died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 in a hospital in Houston.

Ms. Watkins resided in Lufkin most of her life. Before becoming disabled, she worked in the office for the Texas State Comptroller. Carol enjoyed crafting and all things pink and glittery. Ms. Watkins attended Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Molly Capps and husband Jimmy of Diboll, Kimberly Alderman and husband David of Central; son, Jeff Watkins of Diboll; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Raley and wife Angela of Orange; and numerous other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Pallbearers will be Chris Pahal, Richard James, Jimmy Capps, Russ Raley, Benny Winder and Gracie Farrell.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Carroway Funeral Home.
