Freddy Lee Grimes

Funeral services for Freddy Lee Grimes, 70, of the Beulah Community will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel in Huntington with Brother Lesly Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in the Grimes Cemetery.

Mr. Grimes was born February 10, 1945 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Curtis Calvin and Earline (Scarborough) Grimes, and died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Grimes had resided in the Beulah Community of Angelina County, Texas most of his life. He was a welder for Natural Gas Pipeline for 33 years. Mr. Grimes was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Grimes of the Beulah Community; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Sharon Grimes of Kyle, Kyle and Marcie Grimes of Corrigan, Bronson and Susan Grimes of Chester and Kaylon Grimes of the Beaulah Community; granddaughters, Kim Kirk, Kayla Grimes, Kelsey Grimes, Korie Grimes, Emma Grimes, Kaylee Grimes and Abby Grimes; great-grandchildren, Jacey Kirk and Linley Kirk; mother, Earline Grimes of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Jim Love of Highlands; brother, Curtis Wayne Grimes of the Beulah Community; sister-in-law and spouse, Rhonda and Danny Munson of Schwab City; special daughters, Suzette Abshire of Bridge City and Karen Hooks of Moscow; special family, Jean and Lynn Kennedy of Corrigan; and special friends, Jim and Beth Beltz of Moss Bluff, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Curtis Calvin Grimes; and grandson, Justin Grimes.

Pallbearers will be Paden Reed, Shawn Wilson, Zac Kurtz, Bobby Griffin, Michael Dies and James Abraham.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lynn Kennedy, Pete Weeks, Roy Beauchamp and Curtis Griffin.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home in Huntington.
