Robert Price Smith

Graveside services for Robert Price Smith, 65, of Lufkin will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.

Mr. Smith was born January 14, 1948 in Amarillo, Texas to Charlie and Lois (Capp) Smith, and died Sunday, August 4, 2013 in a local hospital. A former resident of San Marcos, he had resided in Lufkin for 16 years. He served in the U.S. Army and was the Finance Manager for various companies.

Survivors include his wife, Glenna Smith of Lufkin; daughter, Keri Smith McCool and husband Mark of Galveston; sister, Charlene Smith of Plainview; mother-in-law, Virginia Prothro of Temple; and his loving dog, Belle.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Glen Smith; and sisters, Mary Hurst and Helen Borden.
