Graveside services for Katherine Diane Jennings Martin Fisher, 49, of Lufkin, will be held Monday, February 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Prairie Grove Cemetery with Brother Floyd Slaughter officiating.
Kathy was born July 23, 1962 in Houston, Texas, and died Friday, February 24, 2012 in a Lufkin hospital.
Kathy was a graduate of Diboll High School and had lived in Diboll most of her life. She had been a manager for a number of fast food restaurants. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, the casinos, and watching her granddaughters' sporting events. She was a member of Promise Land Baptist Church of Lufkin.
Survivors include her husband of eight years, John Fisher of Lufkin; daughter, Susan Martin of Diboll; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Martin of Lufkin, Ronald ""J.R."" and Kayla Martin of Dallas; six grandchildren, Skyler, Chloe, Marshall, Timarah, Leah and Kassie; mother, Etta Jennings of Diboll; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and James Fisher, Judy and Freeman Thompson, all of Diboll, and Cindy and Dee McClelland of Bronson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Preceding Kathy in death was her father, K.D. Jennings.
Pallbearers will be Charles Martin, J.R. Martin, Timothy Cauley, Jeff Fisher, Jimmy Fisher and Curtis Windsor.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. Monday morning at the funeral home.
