Mollie Marie Parr

Funeral services for Mollie ""Polly"" Parr, 74, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Carroway Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Darryl Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Fielder Cemetery.

Mrs. Parr was born May 5, 1936 in Huntington, Texas to the late Roxie Mae (Grammer) and John Austin Williams, and died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Nacogdoches. She was a lifetime resident of the Lufkin area and was the Manager of M.C. Hughes Oil Co. for more than 20 years. Mrs. Parr enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her husband, Wally Abram of Lufkin; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert W. and Amanda Burks of Shepherd and George and Meagan Parr of Huntington; daughter, Sheila Parr of Lufkin; stepson and daughter-in-law, Eric and Carrisa Abram of Livingston; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Christy and Darren Foreman of Lufkin; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, W.C. ""Jack"" and Pat Williams of New Caney.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parr was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie Elliott; sisters, Mary Louise Dalzell and Icemae Athey; and brothers, David Alton ""Pete"" Williams and John Thomas ""Bug"" Williams.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Parr, Justin Santus, Josh Copeland, David Renfroe, Joe Williams and Jamie Garcia.

The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
